Highland Trips
Lochs, glens and castles on a private day out from Edinburgh. Planned by a local, driven at your pace, with as many photo stops as you like.

What's included
Your day, your way.
No coach, no strangers and no rushing back to a timetable. Just you, your group and a driver who knows the roads.
Private car and driver
Picked up from your hotel in the morning and dropped back in the evening.
Stop when you want
Viewpoints, villages, a long lunch or a distillery visit, all at your own pace.
Planned by a local
We suggest the best route for the season and the weather, and the places worth stopping.
Longer trips
The Isle of Skye and the far north work best over two or three days. We can help plan those too.
Trip ideas
Where to go
Glencoe and Rannoch Moor
Some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland: the Three Sisters, the wide open Rannoch Moor and Buachaille Etive Mòr.
Loch Ness and Inverness
North through the Cairngorms National Park to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle on its shore. A long but unforgettable day.
Stirling and the Trossachs
Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, then lochs and forest in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
Perthshire and Pitlochry
Big trees, Highland villages, the Pitlochry dam and salmon ladder, and a distillery on the way home.
Highland days are long. For Glencoe or Loch Ness, plan for around 10 to 12 hours door to door. Driving times are approximate and depend on the route and stops.
